Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team that assists in managing warehouse operations and inventory
• Supervise warehouse staff including assigning tasks, coaching, and development
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and investigate any discrepancies
• Enforce safety standards with regular meetings to align with OSHA regulations
• Track and maintain KPI dashboard summarizing material management's performance
• Cook with departments such as purchasing, production, and installation
• Maintain warehouse productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Value stream minded schedule development that prioritizes decisions using input from both internal and external customers
• Identifies, maps, and measures core processes for the team including: Warehouse Management, Managing Obsolete Parts Control, Inventory, All other Kan Ban program Management, Receiving
• Maintain facility organization and material flow using lean and 5S principles

Requirements

• Fluent in Microsoft office programs
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Natural attention to detail
• Ability to learn new skills quickly

Skills

• Logical problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• AA/AS with 2 years experience, or 5 years experience in a warehouse in a manufacturing setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field is preferred
