Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations in retail stores, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. They also support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
• Maintains storage buy transactions, handles receiving errors, and stages products.
• Maintains warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance and communicates necessary repairs.
• Ensures a safe and clean workplace by implementing warehouse safety programs.
• Trains and monitors compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Handles employee inquiries, resolves issues, and coordinates with other departments.
• Completes activity reports and monitors inventory flow.
• Executes Storage Buy Audit COP, ensuring proper product staging and storage.
• Manages warehouse personnel and implements a progressive disciplinary process.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Physical Work: Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
• Standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
