About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store. They also supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the daily freight schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
  • Manage storage buy transactions, handling receiving errors, and staging products.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance programs and communicate necessary repairs to CEM and/or Operations Manager.
  • Ensure a safe and clean workplace for employees and comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Train and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Handle employee inquiries, solve problems, and coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations.
  • Complete activity reports for management and monitor the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control.
  • Execute Storage Buy Audit COP, ensuring products are staged for counting and inspection, stored properly, and rotated.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by management.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating, and follow-up skills.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Competent in basic mathematical calculations and computer skills (Windows-based systems).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Qualifications

  • Physical Work: Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pickup Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
