WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of components within the facility, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and ensure execution of procedures, written instructions, and safety guidance.
• Oversee cycle count activities to document and control accurate accountability of assets.
• Coordinate with Production/Completions Supervision to ensure timely kit fill of material in support of scheduled requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal workplace safety regulations, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Supervise subordinates, including hiring, termination, performance evaluation, discipline, and leave approval.
• Manage timely receipt and cost-effective shipment of all company material.
• Oversee time kitting and issuance of material required to support completion operations.
• Ensure adherence to DFJC company personnel policies and operational directives by supervised employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Four (4) years of warehouse and/or inventory control experience.
• Practical knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques of Warehouse Operations and/or Inventory Control.
• Proficient in MS Office Suites.
• Positive and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hold meetings, create, and present material to groups at any level of the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role leading employees.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Capacity Resource Planning (CRP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Working Conditions

This role operates in an office environment with significant desk and computer work, as well as a climate-controlled warehouse. Some travel between hangars may be required. The position is designated as safety-sensitive due to routine operation of equipment and tools, and involvement in aircraft service and airworthiness. The employee must maintain constant alertness and concentration to perform safety activities, as lapses could result in injury, illness, or death.

Pay

Compensation for this position typically ranges between $58,543.00 and $78,193.00 per year. Final compensation will depend on factors such as relevant experience, education/certifications, geographic location, and shift. This position is not eligible for overtime under FLSA guidelines but may qualify for a sign-on bonus, shift differential, or relocation assistance.
