About the role
This position oversees efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods while supervising temporary staff and maintaining accurate inventory and safety standards.Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and provide training
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate receiving and shipping
- Oversee daily inbound/outbound logistics and order fulfillment
- Enforce safety and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA)
- Improve workflows to boost efficiency and reduce costs
- Cook up with procurement, transportation, and customer service
- Maintain shipment, inventory, and scheduling records
- Resolve delays, damaged goods, and staff issues efficiently
Qualifications
- Ace an Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or business
- Have 3 - 5 years of warehouse/logistics experience, including lead responsibilities
- Show supervisory or team leadership experience
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Have forklift experience (sit?down and stand?up)
- Have OSHA safety certification
- Show strong leadership and team management skills
- Show knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and safety compliance
- Show experience with WMS or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Show strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Show ability to lift 25–50 lbs
