About the role
Amsive is a leader in high-volume print and mail manufacturing with over 40 years of experience. Our success depends on people who are dependable, performance-focused, and take pride in meeting production goals. Production is completed in-house using modern high-speed print and mail manufacturing equipment. Our facilities are clean, well-lit, and temperature controlled.
Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse employees and provide daily direction to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Serve as a working supervisor and support hands-on warehouse activity as business needs require.
- Ensure warehouse procedures are followed for receiving, storage, inventory movement, material handling, and shipping.
- Ensure goods are promptly and accurately received according to procedures.
- Verify goods and receiving information against purchase orders, shipping documents, and system records.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including item location, counts, transactions, cycle counts, excess inventory, obsolete inventory, and red-tag inventory.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with root-cause analysis for inventory losses or gains.
- Work with production and other departments to ensure materials are labeled, located, and delivered properly.
- Pull, stage, move, and deliver materials to production departments as needed.
- Utilize company systems, including DirectLink where applicable, for inventory control, purchase orders, receiving, and material movement.
- Absorb and maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Interact with shipping vendors and support freight shipments, mail shipments, drop shipments, and other logistics needs.
- Ensure all stock receiving, material returns, and warehouse transactions are completed correctly.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other company-owned equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
- Ensure equipment inspections are completed as required.
- Ensure forklift drivers are properly trained, certified, and operating equipment safely.
- Participate in training new warehouse employees.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean warehouse area.
- Sustain 5S and process improvement initiatives in the warehouse.
- Maintain timely communication with production, operations, and management teams.
- Advise and participate in safety initiatives.
- Maintain an accident-free and safe working environment.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of warehouse experience.
- Prior lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Certified to operate a forklift or able to pass forklift certification.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience using warehouse, shipping, inventory, or production systems preferred.
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, internal departments, and external vendors.
- Must be available to work overtime as business needs require.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Schedule
Day Shift Work Hours: 7am - 4:30pm M-F, with expected additional hours/weekends mandatory.
