Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily warehouse operations across multiple facilities while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates, forklift drivers, and machine operators to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
  • Assign daily work, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback to support employee success
  • Cook up close with the Filling Supervisor throughout the shift to ensure production lines, operational priorities are aligned, and issues are addressed proactively; provide a comprehensive end-of-shift email summarizing shift performance, key activities, and outstanding items requiring follow-up
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed
  • Load, unload, store, and move materials throughout the warehouse using established procedures
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS), RFID technology, and JD Edwards (JDE) to manage inventory and create/close work orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control processes
  • Prepare partial pallets and staged materials to support the next day's production schedule
  • Perform quality checks, documentation, and packaging activities as needed
  • Complete End-of-Shift (EOS) reports, proactively communicating operational issues and shift performance
  • Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and all safety regulations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, quality, and customer service

What You’ll Bring

  • A high school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role
  • Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills
  • Experience with warehouse inventory systems; experience with JDE and RFID technology is a plus
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to lift 20-60 pounds frequently and safely climb stairs and ladders
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation
