Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift
About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the Bolingbrook warehouse, logistics, and incoming materials. Responsibilities include working with in-house buyers to maintain adequate stock levels, implementing systems to ensure accuracy, and delivering materials to manufacturing as needed. Direct supervision of the G&W Bolingbrook receiving, shipping team, and material handlers is also included.
Responsibilities
- Create and deploy a holistic inventory plan within the Bolingbrook factory, focusing on inventory accuracy and cross-functional processes to maintain correct levels and mitigate obsolete/slow-moving inventory.
- Lead and train a team of ~6+ employees, ensuring their productivity, resolving issues, and making necessary adjustments to roles and distribution.
- Guide human resources decisions such as employee selection, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational, motivational, and communication skills.
- Implement new technology to improve transactional accuracy and continuously refine processes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years inventory/warehouse management experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in operations or business management, or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding leadership qualities and previous supervisory experience in a high-paced environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of ERP systems, particularly JDE.
- Strong organizational, motivation, and communication skills.
- An open personality with a natural curiosity to learn and focus on essential tasks.
- A self-starter who can operate independently.
- A lean background is preferred but not required.

- Physical demands include a general office environment, PC use, occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs), stooping, standing.

Pay
Typical pay range is $71,200 - $92,600 annually. Pay is based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications. Participation in the Quarterly Incentive Pay Program is eligible.
