The Warehouse Specialist loads, unloads, checks, and tallies tires to and from carriers, selects and packs customer orders, and ensures TireHub’s safety guidelines are met.

This position reports to the Assistant TLC Leader and requires exhibiting TireHub’s core commitments: Approachable, Adventurous, Relentless, and Speedy.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
• Selects, packs, counts, marks, and palletizes customer orders and places tires in assigned staging areas according to the bin locator system.
• Operates order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Performs counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents.
• Ensures proper unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking of tires following safety protocols.
• Participates in cycle counting and annual inventories.
• Completes ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules.
• Performs other tasks assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to read, write, and comprehend.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance).
• Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet above ground-level while tethered.
• Ability to certify on and operate a stand-up order picker/forklift for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and use computer-based programs (e.g., iPad).
• Must maintain TireHub-sponsored forklift certification.
• Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment safety restraints.

• At least 1 year of general work experience.

Pay

Starting wage of $19 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over the first year of employment.

Schedule

Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours. Extended day, evening, and weekend work may be required with little to no advanced notice.

Working Conditions

• May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, eyewear, etc.).
• Works in various settings, including non-climate-controlled warehouses and customer locations.
• Driving during the night or in inclement weather may be required.
• Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
