Warehouse Specialist

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Aid in general warehouse operations by performing tasks such as assisting with post-consumer sorting, outlet rotation, and tipping.
  • Accurately complete paperwork including truck manifest forms, powered industrial equipment inspections, and SAP scanning.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, removing dust, debris, and hazards.
  • Receive goods from the general public, greeting and assisting donors, unloading donations, offering receipts, determining acceptability, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Present a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Communicate progress, concerns, and issues to the Distribution Center Supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

  • No formal education required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Must maintain a neat appearance and communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to operate equipment safely and follow safety guidelines.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime and varied hours, including weekends.
  • Physical requirements include working in all weather conditions, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and bending, stooping, and reaching frequently.
