Warehouse Specialist

About the role

We’re seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our BBB branch. The Warehouse Specialist will assist in various warehouse duties, including packing/shipping, receiving/processing incoming stock and materials, unloading and loading trucks, organizing, retrieving stock, and maintaining a clean work environment. Key responsibilities include data entry, inventory management, and ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
• Receive and unload equipment and parts, unpack and shelf
• Pack, wrap, label, and/or ship parts and equipment
• Pick up parts/equipment from local suppliers
• Operate forklifts, delivery trucks, and lifting equipment
• Assist with refurbishing ice machines
• Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Six months previous warehouse experience, preferred
• Forklift certification, preferred
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States
• Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Multi-line phone system proficiency
• A self-motivated and disciplined individual who works well independently and as a team member
• Desire to learn more about warehouse operations and basic operating/maintenance of ice machines
• Clear and professional communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
• Good planning and time management skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Willingness to assume a variety of tasks

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
