Responsibilities
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently according to established procedures.
- Perform all receiving activities and maintain timely and accurate receiving documentation.
- Receive, store, organize, and prepare inventory for shipment.
- Pick, pack, label, and ship orders using established instructions and procedures.
- Ensure shipments comply with DOT, IATA, and other applicable transportation regulations.
- Process material returns and complete associated documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through bin location management and cycle count activities.
- Coordinate the unloading of incoming materials and bulk shipments as required.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain clean, organized Receiving and Finished Goods warehouse areas.
- Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Accounting, Purchasing, and Scheduling teams to support business operations.
- Participate in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production, quality, and customer service goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- General computer skills with the ability to work in inventory and material movement databases.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, including DOT, IATA, and IMDG requirements, or the ability to obtain required certifications.
- Ability to read and follow picking tickets, packing instructions, labels, and verbal directions.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely in a warehouse environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay
The salary for this role is $22.50 - $26.00/hour.
