Warehouse - Receiver

About the role

Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents
• Records factors causing goods to be returned
• Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage
• Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
