Warehouse Receiver & Materials Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials (APIs, excipients, packaging components, and supplies) for accuracy and quality.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled, quarantined, and documented in accordance with GMP and facility SOPs.
- Cook up material movement between suites (100, 200, and 300), maintaining chain of custody and documentation.
- Aid in maintaining inventory accuracy through timely system updates and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Inventory Control to ensure efficient material flow to production.
- Manage storage organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas.
- Safeguard compliance during audits by maintaining receiving and material records.
- Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
- Occasionally assist with outdoor deliveries or loading/unloading of shipments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college or technical training preferred).
- 1–2 years of warehouse, receiving, or materials coordination experience — preferably in a GMP, 503A/503B, or pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (training available).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated, 503A/503B compounding, or pharmaceutical warehouse environment.
- Working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and material traceability requirements.
- Experience with ERP or electronic inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, or similar).
- Familiarity with raw material and finished goods handling in a controlled or cleanroom environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret Certificates of Analysis (COA) and verify material specifications.
- Prior experience supporting regulatory or quality audits.
- Strong understanding of material status control (e.g., quarantine, released, rejected).
- Forklift or pallet jack certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting.
- Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing.
