Warehouse Quality Coordinator I

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Quality Coordinator in College Park, GA. This role supports distribution across the US using state-of-the-art equipment in a safe warehouse environment, handling spirits and operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications.
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance with specifications.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a food-grade facility.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, or similar regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Some positions require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer-specific badging or background requirements.

Pay

Hourly pay: $19.50 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.
