Warehouse Quality Coordinator I

Warehouse Quality Coordinator I position in College Park, GA. Hourly pay: $19.50 per hour. Pay is issued weekly.

About the role

Join Ryder to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe warehouse environment handling spirits. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles support distribution across the US.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications.
• Inspect product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Previous experience in a food-grade facility.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Some positions require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer-specific badging or background requirements.
