Warehouse Quality Coordinator I

Responsibilities

• Use a pneumatic nail gun, powered saw, and other powered/hand tools to repair or assemble pallets.
• Stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and lift up to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
• Place pallets on repair tables, remove defective boards, replace with new boards, and secure boards into place.
• Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
• Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
• Participate in quality audits.
• Ensure product quality meets customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years or more in Manufacturing or fast-paced warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Skills in math, personal computers, and spreadsheets.
