About the role

This hourly, non-exempt position is safety-sensitive and involves operating overhead cranes to pull slab orders accurately and safely. The role requires working in a warehouse environment with physical demands including lifting, pulling, and moving materials.

Responsibilities

  • Pull slabs from the warehouse based on provided slab orders.
  • Move slabs to loading areas using overhead cranes.
  • Load slabs onto customer vehicles/trucks, ensuring products are well secured and safety measures are followed.
  • Unload slabs from containers using forklifts.
  • Arrange slabs properly in the slab warehouse using forklifts or cranes.
  • Maintain the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers.
  • Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Forklift, overhead crane, and warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to use smartphones/tablets.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision.

Pay

This position pays between $20.75 and $22.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires typically earn between $59,600 and $75,000 annually, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday, 07:30 PM to 05:30 AM.
  • Two Saturdays per month, 04:00 PM to 09:00 PM.
