Responsibilities
- Safe operation of machinery on a daily basis
- Delivering materials of various size and weight to the Production lines to supply them on a daily basis (Wet concrete, fabricated steel, etc.)
- Maintain consistent communication between other operators and production crews throughout the day in order to provide exceptional service
- Properly dispose of scrap materials throughout the day
Requirements
- Equipment operation experience in a Heavy Manufacturing setting
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate machinery safely
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Troubleshooting skills
Physical Requirements
- Move a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Spatial awareness/depth perception
- Walk, climb, bend at the waist, reach
- Forceful use of hand tools
- Vocal projection
Work Environment
Typical industrial hazards including varying climates, dust, noise, and moving machinery.
