Warehouse Order Selector - Second Shift

About the role

This position involves selecting and assembling customer orders by locating, lifting, and packing products such as groceries, produce, dairy, meats, and frozen items. The Order Selector operates powered industrial equipment like pallet jacks and ensures safety and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift products using order sheets or audio headsets to fulfill customer orders.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and conduct equipment inspections.
• Report damaged items, quality issues, and stock shortages.
• Properly wrap products to prevent damages during transportation.
• Work in various temperature zones including refrigerated and freezer areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in order selecting and operating industrial equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, stand, walk, crouch, and reach regularly.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work in multi-temperature environments and be flexible with hours, including weekends and holidays.
