Warehouse Order Selector - Second Shift

About the role

An Order Selector is responsible for efficiently fulfilling customer orders by locating, lifting, and selecting products such as dry groceries, frozen foods, produce, and meats from warehouse racks. The role involves operating powered industrial equipment like pallet jacks, ensuring proper wrapping techniques to prevent damage, and assembling pallets for shipment. Work may occur in dry, cooled, or frozen environments, requiring adherence to safety protocols and proper equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pick products according to order sheets or audio instructions.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report issues such as damaged or low-stock items.
• Wrap and secure products for transport, ensuring safety and quality.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must handle physical demands such as lifting, bending, and operating controls, often in moderate to high noise environments.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed is essential.
• Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in order selecting and operating industrial equipment preferred.

Skills

• Ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, crouch, reach, and work in multi-temperature areas.
• Strong adherence to safety policies and instructions.
