Warehouse Order Selector - 1st Shift

About the role

Responsible for completing customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks, assembling, palletizing, and wrapping pallets. Operates powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks, and works in dry, cooled, or frozen environments. Ensures safety and quality by maintaining a clean workspace, inspecting equipment, and reporting damages or low stock. Uses proper wrapping techniques to prevent product damage.

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift cases, boxes, and pallets of various grocery products
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain safety standards, conduct equipment inspections, and report issues
• Follow instructions and utilize proper wrapping techniques
• Support additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in order selecting and operating warehouse equipment is preferred
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Capability to operate equipment safely and work in multi-temperature areas
• Strong physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and perform varied physical tasks such as walking, crouching, and reaching

Work environment

Must frequently stand, walk, bend, and handle objects. Exposure to temperature changes and moderate to high noise levels. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is required.
