Warehouse Order Selector - 1st Shift

About the role

This position involves selecting products from warehouse racks, assembling, palletizing, and wrapping pallets for customer orders. The role requires operating powered industrial equipment and working in various temperature zones, including refrigerated and freezer areas.

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift cases, boxes, and pallets of groceries and related products using order sheets or audio headsets.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and conduct equipment inspections.
• Report damaged, out-of-stock, or quality issues.
• Use proper wrapping techniques to prevent product damage.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in order selecting and equipment operation is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Capacity to operate warehouse machinery safely and in compliance with safety policies.
• Comfort working in multi‑temperature zones.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Requirements

• Must frequently sit, walk, stand, grasp, twist, and reach.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to work in varying warehouse conditions, including exposure to temperature changes and moderate to high noise levels.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is essential.
