Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Role Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including managing associates, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate records for shipments, especially controlled substances. They supervise receiving, shipping, order picking, packing, and inventory management, using RF devices as needed. The role involves motivating and coaching staff, optimizing workflows, and supporting operational efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Directs workflow, trains, and monitors team performance.Implements process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.Ensures compliance with safety, policies, procedures, and DEA regulations.Supervises receipt, verification, and shipment of products, including controlled substances.Maintains detailed records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory activities.Coordinates with customers on delivery issues and ensures timely order fulfillment.Oversees packing quality and safeguards fragile items.Manages associates’ attendance, performance, and overtime. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, administration, or related fields.Minimum of two years of relevant, progressively responsible experience.Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.Proficiency in warehouse operations, computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), and possibly reach truck operation.Ability to foster teamwork and maintain positive relationships. Additional Requirements: Willingness to work extended hours, participate in physical inventories, and support emergency or weekend operations as needed.
