About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor at Cencora is responsible for hiring, terminating, directing, and performing associates within the warehouse. They oversee various functions including receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns, and managing the cage/vault area. The role involves ensuring safety guidelines are followed, directing workflow, motivating, training, and monitoring performance.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, terminating, and directing associates
  • Overseeing the workflow and performance of warehouse associates
  • Motivating, training, and monitoring associates
  • Making suggestions for modifications to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations
  • Coaching employees to support their development
  • Supervising the receipt of merchandise
  • Counting, weighing, and identifying items being shipped
  • Filling orders and double-checking shipments
  • Maintaining records of the delivery process
  • Maintaining records of order-filling process
  • Packing merchandise to ensure it arrives in a satisfactory manner
  • Maintaining detailed records of incoming and outgoing controlled substances
  • Tracking attendance, monitoring performance, and managing overtime

Requirements

  • Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations
  • A minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills as a leader
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Proficiency to operate a reach truck
  • Willingness to work extended hours, take part in weekend on-call rotation, and provide emergency service to customers
  • Willingness to participate in physical inventory if scheduled

$2,500 sign-on bonus

Schedule

Sunday-Wednesday 10:00am-8:30pm
