Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Serves as on-site supervisor and assistant to operations manager for the yard/warehouse/safety.
• Responsible for warehouse function which involves receipt of products from external and internal suppliers; pulling and loading products for shipment.
• Training, guiding, coaching, and counseling the materials-handling associates.
• Day-to-day safety awareness and enforcement of Division Safety and PPE policy and operations consistent with established standard operating procedures.
• Serves as a troubleshooter in handling daily activities within the yard.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Requires two (2) year technical education, college degree; or high school diploma and a minimum three (3) years operations experience. Must have prior supervisory experience.
• Skill requirements include leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and good interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in utilizing computer software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of building materials a plus.
