Warehouse Operations Specialist
About the role
Versant Health is one of the nation's leading administrators of managed vision care, serving over 35 million members across the United States. The Warehouse Operations Specialist provides decision support, business forecasting, and operational planning with a focus on supporting provider operations. This role acts as a business partner to Network Operations, Provider Relations Representatives, Retail Relationship Coordinators, Inventory & Merchandising, and the Manager of Provider Engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day departmental operational support, working closely with the VP of Supply Chain Management, Strategic Delivery Manager Supply Chain, Provider Engagement Manager, and the Inventory & Merchandising department
- Prepare required operational reports on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Prepare ad-hoc operational, inventory modeling, analysis, and expense report monitoring
- Interpret results using a variety of techniques, including simple data aggregation via statistical analysis
- Assist others on ad hoc analysis projects
- Answer Versant Health managed care questions and/or direct the provider’s questions to the appropriate party; manage responses and resolve issues
- Determine and monitor the amount of outgoing monthly frame collections and safety collections with monthly tracking responsibility and usage reporting
- Manage tower collection process both outbound and returns
- Import, clean, transform, validate, and/or model data for decision-making purposes; present data in charts, graphs, and tables
- Perform hands-on operational tasks related to tower-related kit builds and shipments of the Exclusive Collection to a network of providers
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the success of various programs and initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, professional work environment
- 1 year of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred

Pay
The expected hourly pay range for this position is $26.50 – $29.00 per hour, based on factors such as experience, skills, and role requirements.
