About the role
The Warehouse Operations Specialist supports warehouse operations across all departments including sales, dispatch, inventory, and logistics. Key responsibilities include serving as an operational liaison, processing customer sales and returns, performing core warehouse operations, adjusting inventory, supporting dispatch, conducting inventory spot counts, promoting safety, and assisting with branch expansions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an operational liaison between warehouse teams and branch management
- Process customer sales and returns in compliance with company policies
- Perform and support all core warehouse operations including receiving, picking, staging, stocking, transfers, and returns
- Adjust inventory quantities to maintain accuracy and operational efficiency
- Support dispatch functions to coordinate timely and accurate deliveries
- Conduct inventory spot counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries, transfers, or other approved business purposes
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized branch environment
- Provide cross-functional coverage and support during periods of high volume or staff absence
- Collaborate with stocking and operations teams to optimize inventory storage
- Auxiliary with branch expansion, reorganization, or modification of warehouse shelving and racking projects
- Support branch-level and regional operational initiatives, including process improvement and problem-solving efforts
- Travel periodically to other warehouse locations to assist with setup, operations, or project execution
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED or equivalent years of experience)
- 1+ years of experience in sales, warehouse, dispatch, or related operations
- Proven proficiency with warehouse equipment including forklifts and order pickers (must be trained and certified)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, including MAM WMS and spreadsheet proficiency
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and work in warehouse conditions
Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry
- Familiarity with inventory management or dispatch systems
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience working in a dynamic, project-oriented warehouse environment
- Familiarity with all warehouse department functions

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Warehouse and office environment with some exposure to outdoor conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and handling automotive parts
- Regular lifting/moving of objects up to 10 lbs., frequent up to 50 lbs., occasional over 100 lbs.
- Physical activities include walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and balancing
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Occasional driving for deliveries or transfers
