- Every other Thursday & Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
Pay
$16–$20/hour
Responsibilities
- Configure outbound shipments, verify numbers and quantities, stack boxes onto specific pallet patterns
- Exercise safe lifting techniques when bending, lifting, and turning
- Accept materials from other divisions/departments for ethylene oxide sterilization
- Verify catalog numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates per incoming procedures
- Complete JD Edwards transactions using IBM Data Collection scanners to receive product into Regional Sterilization
- Assemble/build sterilization loads according to defined palletization diagrams
- Locate materials into pallet/BIN locations
- Operate inventory control system
- Maintain an acceptable work area as outlined per procedure and Quality System Regulations
- Support buying and selling processes
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience operating material handling equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and operational procedures/specifications
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor
- Good oral and written communication skills in Basic English
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and apply them to operational tasks
- Good logic and reasoning ability; ability to define problems and find logical solutions
- Must evaluate and resolve daily issues by exercising sound judgement
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision
- Must be free of any health conditions that would prohibit assignments requiring heavy lifting, pulling, bending, or prolonged standing
Work Environment
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
