Warehouse/Material Handler - Wednesday - Saturday 7 am - 5:30 pm

12-month contract position on W2; US Citizens, Green-Card holders, or valid EAD/OPT/CPT required.

About the role

This position performs warehouse and material distribution tasks, including receiving and shipping product, operating a forklift, and maintaining inventory using FEFO methodology.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks (inter-company deliveries, vendors, etc.)
• Load outbound trucks (inter-company shipments, off-site warehouse, etc.)
• Locate and retrieve products as well as replenish picking locations using FEFO methodology
• Move pallets on dock
• Physically stack/transport product from larger sterilization pallet to regular pallet before moving by forklift to dock, as required
• Ensure all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and procedures
• Maintain an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP
• Prioritize safety and maintain safe working conditions by adhering to proper operating practices and procedures
• Perform warehouse associate duties as required
• Train new hires on RF functions as needed
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

• Ability to work well with others
• Experience in the safe operation of material handling equipment
• Licensed to operate material handling equipment
• Good verbal communication skills
• Good basic math skills
• Ability to solve practical problems
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Safety shoes required for position

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Experience on Cherry picker and/or Reach lift

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, reach, push/pull, grasp, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type
• May include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers
• Occasionally required to climb
• May require lifting over 50 lbs in some areas but not all

Work Environment

• Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions: hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (limited heating)
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Moderate to loud noise level in the work environment

Pay

$16–20 per hour

Schedule

Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (10 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
