Warehouse Material Handler I

About the role

The position involves performing warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. It also includes responsibilities like accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks. Additionally, the role requires handling daily paperwork and providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Audit, stage, and load/unload products according to performance measurement guidelines.
• Handle paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and other relevant documents.
• Support the automated packing system during peak production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up practices.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Punctuality and good attendance record.
• Initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Flexible scheduling ability.
