About the role
Ryder is seeking a permanent full-time Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver position in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks
- Dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work within a diverse work environment
- High degree of accuracy, even under pressure
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual and good attendance record
- Possesses a high degree of initiative
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

Pay
Weekly hourly pay rate of $21.00 per hour.
