Warehouse/Material Handler - Heavy Lifting Required (8PM to 6:30 AM)

About the role

This position is responsible for warehouse and material distribution tasks, including receiving and shipment of product in a medical-device environment. Heavy lifting is required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders: scan bar codes, label boxes, pick product, and prepare packages for shipment.
• Palletize orders by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
• Re-palletize products for shipment.
• Perform dock manifest duties: scan completed pallets and operate shrink wrapper.
• Operate the ground/manual manifest station.
• Transport pallets using material handling equipment.
• Complete all assigned duties in a timely manner following departmental standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and compliant work area as outlined in Quality System Regulations (QSR).
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
• Prioritize safety and adhere to operating practices and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses.
• Ensure regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate ideas and business needs effectively.
• Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Ability to work well with others and under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment and RF scanners.
• Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack.
• Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• General computer skills and distribution knowledge.
• Familiarity with Quality System Regulations (QSR).
• Good basic math skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.

Pay

$16–20 per hour.

Schedule

1st shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Monday through Thursday (40 hours per week). Contract duration: 3 months.
