Warehouse Material Handler-c

Ryder is hiring a permanent full-time Material Handler in Antioch, TN. This role supports distribution across the US in a state-of-the-art warehouse environment.

About the role

Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors using stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.

Pay

$17.65 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record and personal vehicle for local travel (25–50% of the day)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors
• Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
• High level of accuracy, dependability, and initiative
• Ability to stand for long periods and follow health/safety protocols
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices

Preferred qualifications: one year of warehouse experience, powered industrial truck experience, valid forklift operator’s license, and ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle daily warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Perform other assigned duties
