About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our operations team in a fast-paced warehouse and/or data center environment. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and moving materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting shipping and receiving functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, prioritizes safety, and can adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify parts against packing lists and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
  • Identify part numbers and develop knowledge of part classifications and prefixes
  • Unload, depalletize, and transport server racks and materials to designated locations
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping documents, and related records to determine material movement requirements
  • Pick, pack, dispatch, and stage materials for shipment
  • Perform unboxing and re-boxing of products as needed
  • Create License Plate Numbers (LPNs) and complete receiving transactions accurately
  • Audit incoming materials and products to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Track and control inventory movements within the facility
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments and receipts
  • Respond to receipt and task-related inquiries
  • Maintain organized workspace and support facility housekeeping initiatives through 5S practices
  • Collaborate with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and support service requests
  • Follow all company quality standards, procedures, and work instructions
  • Support the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System by adhering to company policies and objectives
  • Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Perform all duties safely and report potential hazards promptly

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as:
    • Forklifts
    • Electric tugs
    • Pallet jacks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and process documentation
