Warehouse/ Material Handler

Contract position on W2 basis, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm). Candidates must be US citizens, Green Card holders, or have a valid GC EAD, OPT, EAD, or CPT.

About the role

Reach and order-picker forklift operator responsible for warehouse and material-distribution tasks related to receiving and shipping product. Operates forklifts to move inventory and may perform additional warehouse-associate duties.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks (inter-company deliveries, vendors, etc.).
• Load outbound trucks (inter-company shipments, off-site warehouse, etc.).
• Locate and retrieve products and replenish picking locations using FEFO methodology.
• Move pallets on dock.
• Physically stack/transport product from larger sterilization pallet to regular pallet before moving by forklift to dock when required.
• Complete all assigned duties safely and in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs.
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
• Prioritize safety and maintain safe working conditions by adhering to proper operating practices and procedures.
• Train new hires on RF functions when required.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed to operate material-handling equipment; experience on Cherry picker and/or Reach lift preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and in a metrics-driven environment.
• Must be alert, able to concentrate, and work well with others.
• Good verbal communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Safety shoes required for the position.

Physical demands

• Regularly required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, reach, push/pull, grasp, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type, which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers.
• Occasionally required to climb.
• May require lifting over 50 lbs in some areas.

Work environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, and extreme weather conditions (hot summers without AC, cold winters with limited heating).
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Moderate to loud noise levels.

Pay

$16–$20 per hour.
