Responsibilities

  • Maintains storerooms, shelves, loading docks, and walk in coolers by properly laying out and rotating products.
  • Assigns Job duties for daily work to warehouse employees.
  • Weekly freezer/dry store inventories and completing monthly inventory checklist.
  • Logistic planning for outbound freight.
  • Affixes Job duties for daily work to warehouse employees.
  • Assists Production Manager with ordering incoming products.
  • To load and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, vehicles, or shelves.
  • Tracks weekly inventory from various Villages, inputs data and adheres to timelines.
  • Works with other personnel to make sure all products and supplies will be available and ready as needed.
  • Orders materials, products and supplies as they drop below established levels or as called for by others.
  • Using field-developed methods keeps accurate records of invoices on purchases as well as initiates and monitors claims to shippers or vendors.
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled.
  • Delivers, unloads, loads, stocks, cleans, rotates, or picks up materials or product from various locations.
  • Uses various types of hand trucks to facilitate movement of materials or products.
  • May operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Will be responsible for shipping supplies/food out to the villages.
  • Maintains a variety of products at certain levels in preparation, serving, or storage areas including service machines.
  • Stocks storage areas with various products.
  • Assists with various periodically scheduled large projects.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One (1) year experience in a warehouse or freight environment.
  • Two (2) years’ experience which evidences a knowledge of purchasing, material handling, inventory, stocking, the shipping and receiving of perishable items, or of cleaning processes and equipment.
  • Basic computer skills in computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid driver’s license and a 3-year driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.

Preferred Requirements

  • At least one year of experience which evidences a knowledge of purchasing, material handling, inventory, stocking, the shipping and receiving of perishable items, or of cleaning processes and equipment.
