Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory, shipping, receiving, safety, and warehouse personnel while driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, material handlers, and warehouse associates.
• Establish warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and workflow.
• Manage inventory through cycle counts, audits, and inventory control processes.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Cook up and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners.
• Utilize WMS, ERP systems, and inventory software to manage operations and analyze performance.
• Drive improvements in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, safety, and on-time shipping.
• Collaborate with Operations, Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Transportation.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees through performance management.

Requirements

• Five or more years of leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Experience leading warehouse teams and managing daily operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode/scanning technology.
• Knowledge of FTL, LTL, and small parcel shipping processes and documentation.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, continuous improvement experience in warehouse operations, and experience managing inventory in a manufacturing environment.
