Job Description
The Warehouse Manager provides critical leadership to ensure the high-volume facility functions with maximum efficiency, safety, and strict compliance with state regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Director of Warehouse Operations, this role requires a hybrid leader who balances inventory data control and team leadership with hands-on technical equipment processing. The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Oversight and participation in cleaning, refurbishing, repairing, testing, assembling, disassembling, and moving Video Gaming Terminals (VGT), Redemption Terminals (RT), Amusement Equipment, and Automated Teller Machines (ATM).
- Assuming Warehouse Manager duties when the Manager is unavailable.
Duties And Responsibilities
Technical Operations & Refurbishment
- Manage asset preparation: Oversee and direct VGT, Amusement equipment, ATM, and redemption machine cleaning, refurbishment, repair, testing, and final preparation for shipment and field deployment.
- Optimize hardware reclamation: Oversee the disassembly of obsolete and/or damaged equipment, ensuring removed parts are cleaned, tested, and inventoried for future use.
- Audit compliance workflows: Guarantee all RTT paperwork is scanned, recorded, and successfully transmitted to the Compliance department.
- Establish quality controls for preparing and affixing serial labels, quality assurance checklists, and software tracking labels onto VGTs.
- Systems & Inventory Strategy
- Govern data integrity: Oversee team utilization of Salesforce to ensure VGT status, configuration changes, and physical locations are accurately recorded.
- Lead asset tracking: Design, schedule, and lead comprehensive inventory audits of all VGT assets within the facility.
- Strategize product placement: Assess VGT appearance, condition, and history, collaborating directly with the Customer Experience team to ensure assets are optimally paired with gaming locations.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Enforce IGB transport compliance: Serve as the accountable authority for Request to Transport (RTT) policies; verify serial numbers and IGB assigned numbers match paperwork precisely.
- Audit compliance workflows: Guarantee all RTT paperwork is scanned, recorded, and successfully transmitted to the Compliance department.
Logistics, Safety & Facility Leadership
- Direct freight workflows: Oversee and optimize the workflow for loading and unloading machines, equipment, and parts from transport vehicles.
- Maintain facility standards: Accountable for warehouse organization, safety protocols, and cleanliness, ensuring the facility meets corporate and OSHA standards.
- Manage fleet machinery: Ensure warehouse staff are trained and certified to operate Forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other labor-saving equipment.
- Execute operational support: Perform other high-level duties as required to support fluctuating business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Experience & Licensing: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse or technical asset environment; Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience; Previous experience in warehouse management and logistics desired; Previous experience servicing VGTs, RTs, Amusements, or ATMs desired; Minimum of 21 years of age; Ability to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming Board Terminal Handler’s License; Valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills to manage priorities and workflow; Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; Proficient with basic PC skills; Salesforce experience preferred; High accuracy in asset tracking, serial verification, and compliance paperwork.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical Demands: Frequently moves around the warehouse floor to audit inventory and oversee workflows; Regularly uses hands for hardware inspections and computer data entry; Lifts up to 50 lbs.; Coordinates machinery or team lifts for heavy VGTs/ATMs; Requires sharp close and distance vision to verify compliance labels and serial numbers.
- Work Environment: Split between a standard office desk and active warehouse loading bays; Enforces facility safety compliance around moving mechanical parts and forklifts; Oversees areas using standard electronics cleaning solvents; Ensure proper PPE use; Typically, moderate (forklifts, tools, and equipment testing).
Pay
Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $79,000 per year. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
