Warehouse Manager

Primary Duties

• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
• Planning, assigning, and directing work
• Appraising performance
• Rewarding and disciplining employees
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three to five years related experience and/or training
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
• Product and application knowledge, electrical product materials handling experience, and a background in wholesale electrical distribution are strongly recommended

Physical Demands

• Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping
• Frequent lifting and carrying 21-50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying 51-100 lbs.
• Continuous lifting and carrying 1-20 lbs.
• Lifting and carrying assistance from a buddy-lift or a mechanical device is advised
