Primary Duties
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
- Planning, assigning, and directing work
- Appraising performance
- Rewarding and disciplining employees
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three to five years related experience and/or training
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Product and application knowledge, electrical product materials handling experience, and a background in wholesale electrical distribution are strongly recommended
Physical Demands
- Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping
- Frequent lifting and carrying 21-50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting and carrying 51-100 lbs.
- Continuous lifting and carrying 1-20 lbs.
- Lifting and carrying assistance from a buddy-lift or a mechanical device is advised
