Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, purchasing, product delivery, budgeting, inventory control, warehouse safety, housekeeping, and supervision of warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate warehouse employees.
• Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control, and packaging to enhance efficiency, service, and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Product and application knowledge, electrical product materials handling experience, and a background in wholesale electrical distribution are strongly recommended.

Physical Demands

• Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping.
• Frequent lifting and carrying 21-50 lbs.
• Continuous lifting and carrying 1-20 lbs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying 51-100 lbs.
• Assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device is advised.

Pay

The expected rate of pay for this position is $67,000 - $69,000 annually.

Schedule

Work Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
