Warehouse Maintenance Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Maintenance Assistant works with the Facilities manager in the upkeep, maintenance, and/or repair of various equipment and items in the warehouse. This role partners with leadership on maintenance work and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership (Facilities Supervisor, Operations Manager, Director of Operations) on maintenance work and special projects.
• Oversee equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
• Conduct equipment audits and maintain accurate records.
• Manage parts inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security protocols.
• Cook up annual fire extinguisher inspections.
• Perform scheduled compressor maintenance (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Aid with battery care, including charging and watering.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area at the end of each shift.
• Maintain and repair conveyor lanes, modules, and all other associated components.
• Maintain and repair EM7 Packsize Box On Demand printers and gluers.
• Perform PIT PM's and repairs as needed.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Have light electrical experience.
• Have light plumbing experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Able to multitask.
• You have stellar communication skills.
• Flexible attitude.
• Self-motivation and a determination to succeed.
• Detail oriented.
• Prior facilities experience in a warehouse.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds constantly.
