Warehouse Assistant

Primary Job Function

The Uinta County School District #1 Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with the daily activities of the warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage, delivery, and retrieval of district supplies.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivery
• Deliver all packages/freight from UPS and Fed-Ex to respective schools, departments and transportation facility
• Sort and deliver all district inter-office mail as well as US Postal service mail to respective schools, departments and transportation facility
• Deliver all outgoing mail to the Evanston Post Office
• Retrieval
• Retrieve daily incoming mail from the Evanston Post Office
• Retrieve all outgoing mail, interoffice mail and packages from all schools, departments and transportation facility
• Retrieve all Central Office supply requisitions from Alio and see they are properly delivered
• Shipping
• Support the District's shipping including all necessary paperwork which includes but not limited to:
• UPS
• Federal Express
• Truck freight lines
• Maintain District's postage and UPS accounts
• Restock inventory as needed
• Janitorial duties at the warehouse
• Snow removal throughout the district
• Supporting groundskeeping as needed
• Supporting Maintenance operations as needed

• The employee is required to sit or stand and move around for extended periods of time.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to push, pull, lift and carry over 75 pounds on occasion.

Pay

S-2; 3-2; $17.70 per hour

Schedule

8 hours per day; 5 days a week; 12 months
