Primary Job Function
The Uinta County School District #1 Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with the daily activities of the warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage, delivery, and retrieval of district supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse operations preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivery
- Deliver all packages/freight from UPS and Fed-Ex to respective schools, departments and transportation facility
- Sort and deliver all district inter-office mail as well as US Postal service mail to respective schools, departments and transportation facility
- Deliver all outgoing mail to the Evanston Post Office
- Retrieval
- Retrieve daily incoming mail from the Evanston Post Office
- Retrieve all outgoing mail, interoffice mail and packages from all schools, departments and transportation facility
- Retrieve all Central Office supply requisitions from Alio and see they are properly delivered
- Shipping
- Support the District's shipping including all necessary paperwork which includes but not limited to:
- UPS
- Federal Express
- Truck freight lines
- Maintain District's postage and UPS accounts
- Restock inventory as needed
- Janitorial duties at the warehouse
- Snow removal throughout the district
- Supporting groundskeeping as needed
- Supporting Maintenance operations as needed

- Knowledge of computerized inventory and tracking system
- Knowledge of all safety precautions applicable to trade

- The employee is required to sit or stand and move around for extended periods of time.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to push, pull, lift and carry over 75 pounds on occasion.

- The employee may also be required to interact with unruly children.

Pay
S-2; 3-2; $17.70 per hour
Schedule
8 hours per day; 5 days a week; 12 months
