About the role
Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor for scheduling of regular cleaning and light maintenance of the warehouse, equipment and common areas.
Responsibilities
- Cook with the Facilities Supervisor, Operations Manager and Director of Operations on maintenance work and special projects.
- Manage equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies.
- Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
- Fire Extinguisher Maintenance - annually
- Compressor Maintenance - weekly, monthly and quarterly
- Aids in battery maintenance - Keep batteries charged and watered
- To ensure the cleanliness of the work area at the end of the shift.
- To perform other work-related tasks that may be assigned to him.
Requirements
Good with team skills and able to work with others
Able to fully carry out instructions
Able to multitask
Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
Flexible to change
Self-motivated and have a determination to succeed
Able to manage deadlines
Detailed
Prepared to work the necessary extra hours to deliver high quality output
Able to lift to 50 lbs.
Experienced in prior maintenance roles
