Warehouse Lead TW -2nd Shift

Coordinate activities of workers in aluminum plate saw processing, including pulling, packaging, and shipping customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties and monitors work for accuracy and performance.
• Leads the team in scheduling orders, expediting critical shipments, and maintaining on-time performance.
• Establishes and maintains rapid turnaround and short lead times.
• Manages routine equipment maintenance for the production cell, follows TW Corporate guidelines, and promotes a highly safe, efficient work environment.
• Supports Branch Management in fostering a positive employee culture, continuous improvement mindset, and excellence in customer service.
• Provides work direction, both written and orally, to warehouse team personnel.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
• Addresses errors and complaints in a timely manner.
• Operates in a supervisory role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Experience in the metals industry helpful.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work effectively with common PC programs such as spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (Word).
• Ability to learn mainframe program (Metalware).

Pay

$29.30/hour plus $2 differential.
