Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations and support warehouse associates during the closing shift.
- Safely operate a forklift to move inventory, equipment, and warehouse materials.
- Load, unload, scan, inspect, and properly store household goods in wooden vaults.
- Perform quality control inspections and maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding warehouse operations and inventory.
- Aid in training, coaching, and monitoring warehouse associates to ensure company standards are met.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to become certified).
- Experience working with wooden vaults preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Reliable ability to commute to 4750 NW 15th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33309.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Prioritizing the closing shift, typically beginning around 2:00 PM.
- Six (6) days per week.
- Must be available to work one weekend day.
- Schedule may vary based on operational needs.
Pay
- $45,000 – $50,000, annually.
