Warehouse Lead

Location: Bakersfield, CA Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Position Overview Pinnacle Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Lead for an established company in Bakersfield, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional who enjoys leading by example, keeping operations organized, and helping a team work efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of daily warehouse activities, maintains high standards for safety and accuracy, and is comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on warehouse work. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping.Provide day-to-day direction and support to warehouse employees to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.Maintain organized inventory, accurate records, and proper storage of materials.Monitor workflow, prioritize assignments, and help ensure deadlines are met.Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.Operate warehouse equipment and assist with material handling as needed.Promote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and overall efficiency.Communicate effectively with management regarding daily operations, staffing needs, and potential challenges.Lead by example while fostering teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse operations, distribution, inventory management, or a related environment.Prior experience as a Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, or Supervisor preferred.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience with inventory tracking and warehouse management systems preferred.Forklift experience preferred.Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and make sound decisions.Strong communication skills and a willingness to work alongside the team.Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining safety and productivity standards.Ability to perform the physical duties associated with a warehouse environment.
