Warehouse Lead

Essential Functions

• Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to be able to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis.
• Operates a lift truck all shift.
• Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refers defects or repairs to supervisor/ maintenance.
• Moves controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
• Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
• Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
• Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Compensation

$23.10 per hour + $1.50 per hour Shift Differential
