Responsibilities

• Overseeing all scopes of basic production process.
• Detecting and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.
• Contacting supervisor in the event of any complex problems with the production process.
• Understanding the production policies, practices, and procedures and ensuring the team understands and follows these procedures.
• Being responsible for the quality of work performed; identifying and documenting quality problems; ensuring prevention of non-conforming products.
• Assisting supervisor in overseeing colleague performance and scheduling (as applicable).
• Training colleagues on the line (as applicable).
• Following safety regulations.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 5 or more years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Ability to read, understand and maintain records as required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough understanding of the production process.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Willing and able to teach, coach, and develop others.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.88 - $37.26 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $29.25 to $29.25. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
