Warehouse Lead

Job Details Description Begin your Composites One career today! Position Overview Leads and coordinates activities of warehouse Team Members (including Drivers). This includes safety/risk management, receiving, transportation, warehouse, and equipment operations, all in accordance with established Company and regulatory policies and procedures. Adheres to and promotes Company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company. Key Responsibilities Assists with the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse.Ensures orders arrive and are shipped on time to appropriate destinations and in expected quantities.Assists Warehouse Manager in staffing, development, and performance management of warehouse workers.Communicates and ensures all requirements pertaining to warehousing, material handling, safety, and shipping are followed by staff. Expected Skills And Qualifications A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment, including experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and pick/packKnowledge and understanding of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness, and hazardous material shippingHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalentProficient with SAP shipping, receiving, inventory, and reportsProficient with B2B functions, near-miss and SDS, UPS, FedEx, and dedicated logistics systemsExperience with Microsoft Outlook Additional Preferred Skills And Qualifications Forklift certificationSupervisory experience Pre-Employment Requirement Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and background check.
